I did find a Rachel Owings, daughter of Joshua Owings and his wife Sarah Wilson, who was born 1806 in or near Owingsville, Kentucky, married Ebenezer Scruggs in Bath County, KY on 4 Oct 1826 and died 20 Oct 1850.
