I am currently looking at the Shillcocks on behalf of my cousin Margaret whose father was Richard Andrew Shillcock born in Liverpool. What I have found out so far is that Shillcock is not a common name in Liverpool and Richard's grandfather Joseph was originally from Leicester where the name is more common. Richard and his brothers and sisters were all born in the Toxteth area of Liverpool. Am wondering if there is a connection with your Shillcocks?
