He was on the 1791 Bourbon Co., KY tax list. He had one daughter, Hannah (1796) who married a Thomas H Owens(1805) on 22 Nov 1836. A second daughter, Beverly(1800), married a James Owings on 1 Mar 1837. Both marriages occurred in Bourbon Co. Do you have any information on these gentlemen and/or their families? Also, I have a great-grandmother ( I have forgotten how many generations back) whose name was Sarah Owings, born in Mason Co in 1773, Married Richard Grigson (1765-1845) and died in Bracken Co in 1825.Their daughter, Hannah, married William Henderson and he is a great-grandfather also. One more...can you believe how the Owens/Owings weave thru my family?...My greatgrandfather, George W. Tarr, from Bourbon and Bracken Co, had a sister named Lucinda (1836). Ends up she became pregnant by Willis Owens and her son, Jaqmes Willis Tarr, was born in 1856. Well, I have given you alot of things to sift thru and makes heads or tails of the info. I hope you can help and I will be willing to share any information concerning the other famlies I have. Thanks in advance.
