I recently received a copy of a court file from the Maryland State Archives. It names Harriet Owings, Nathan Harris Owings and Mary Owings as heirs of Beale Owings. The file is dated 5 Mar 1804. It is 17 (11" x 17") pages in length. I ordered it in hopes that the Harriet Owings described was the Harrier Owings I am researching. I now feel certain that the two are not the same person.
