On November 3rd,1815, four of Edward Cockey Owings slaves murdered him at his home in Fountain Rock, Frederick County, Maryland. The four slaves were hung at the Old Magazine on Harpers Ferry road January 26th, 1816. On December 29th, 1824 Nimrod "furnished a lot of coons, turkeys, possums and geese" at a dinner feast for Lafayette in Frederick County. On June 4th, 1834 at Gettysburg, PA - a warrant was issued for two runaway slaves of Nimrods. David Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
