Hi, I've been reading the Owings' boards at Rootsweb & thought I'd like to give it a try with a look-up in the "Owings & Allied Families" book. My gggrandfather was Benjamin Franklin Owings b. 1852 in Sturgeon, Boone, MO He married Mary Koster appx. 1874?? Benjamin's father was Preston Holcomb Owings, married Frances Crosswhite.
