Edward was murdered by four slaves and thrown to the bottom of a well in Fountain Rock, Frederick County, Maryland in 1816 - they were promply hanged. Nimrod was a private in the U.S. Army in 1809. At a dinner feast for Lafayette in Frederick County on December 39th, 1824, Nimrod "furnished a lot of coons, turkey's, possums, and geese". I don't have anything of your Barnhart's but it could be they were just friends or one of the children married.
