Thanks so very much for your message about the Owings DNA. I'm sorry to say that in my Owings line there are no males left. My great grandfather was William Preston Owings, my grandfather was William Hosea Owings, father of 4 daughters, 1 was my mother. No male heirs. My loss. I've tried and tried to find out who William Preston Owings parents were - so far no luck. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, June 17, 2005 12:38 PM Subject: [OWINGS] Owings "Y" Family Tree DNA > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/CV4.2ACEB/280 > > Message Board Post: > > > I recently got my "Y" (male) DNA test results back, to the best of our > knowledge, I am the first Owings to do so with Family Tree.
