We are trying to put together a group of 50 or so people to cost justify the reprint of the 3rd Edition of Addison Owings' book of Richard Owings Family from Baltimore. No updates, just a reprint. If your are interested, drop me an email at [email protected] Even if you have swapped emails, please send me another. I will know more about cost in a few days and will let you know. Ephraim Owings married several siblings of the Solomon Williams family between 1849 - 1861 in Marshall Co, KY. Only in the last marriage did he add that he was a minister of the gospel. Can anyone tell me which church he was minister of? If you can help, please Email me at <[email protected]>
Hello fellow Owings researchers. I'm new to the list and am seeking any information about Harriet or Banister Owings. Harriet married Joel Yates in Mercer Co., KY on Oct 15, 1823. Banister Owings was the bondsman, I assume he was either her father or a very close relative. I cannot find any other information about either of them in my searches. If any body has any knowledge of an Owings family in Mercer Co., I would appreciate hearing from you. John Perkins Los Osos, CA

I am trying to learn more about Ruth Ann Owings. I know that she married Joseph Sheets in Baltimore in 1801 and that her two children where christened in St. Johns Parrish, Baltimore, Maryland in 1803 and and 1804. It appears that she died in 1805. I think it was also in the Baltimore area. I would love to find out where she is buried and how she died, but that is a lot to hope for. I hope that if I can learn more about her, I can learn more about her husband and her children. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Jan Varnon, Lake Mary, FL
