    1. [OE] Filing for Replies to Email

    3. Several weeks ago I was trying to find a way to eliminate a step in order to file my sent emails into the email file folders without retrieving them from the email sent file, and then filing them. In order to do this, the step was to "copy to file" before I sent it. Then I would not have to go to the sent file in order to file it. However, I have found a glitch to this that has caused me a lot of work. On the email files after the name, it will have listed numbers to show the amount of unopened emails in that particular email folder. In order to get these numbers off, one normally only has to go in and open the emails then the number will be reduced to zero. However, since using the "copy to file" method of sending the email to file, a number will show up that there is an email in that particular file that has not been opened. You will have to go into the file and open and shut every email in there. Even if a "1" email remains, then you will have to go in and open and shut ALL the emails AGAIN in order to get this number reduced to zero, because the little yellow email sign will not change when you open it and shut it. This became a nuisance to me when I decided to put a lot of my lists that I am receiving into the message rules filing system. I realized I was showing that there were messages in there showing unopened, even though they were only my "sent" emails. So if anyone has tried this method of filing their sent messages, beware that they will show up as "unopened messages" on the email folders list. I know there is one person that will understand this message and I hope not to thoroughly confuse others. Thank you so very much for your patience. Sincerely, Dee Randall
