    3. Kathy ,,,, it is usually best to keep your programs up to date, the difference between v 5.00 and 5.01 is mostly internal. Every upgrade contains all the past patches and fixes. In case you missed a few of them. Also be aware that the only way to determine which version you have is to look at the build no. For OE 5.01 ,,, click on Help / About ,,,, the ver. # should be 5.00.2919.6600 for ver. 5.01, any other # will be ver. 5.00. For IE 5.01 ,,, click on Help / About ,,,, the ver. # should be 5.00.2919.6307 for ver. 5.01, any other # will be ver. 5.00. These numbers apply only to the ver. 5 series. Don't ask me how MS came up with these #'s for ver. 5.01, I'm not rich enough to think like that.
