Hi Bob, Actually, I am using Outlook Express v. 5.0 for Macintosh and v. 4.72 on the PC. The Macintosh version does not have the items under the TOOLS menu that match your email description. It is very similar to 4.72 in that regard. I had to create all my mail rules (TOOLS/RULES) by hand just like I do in the older PC version I am using. Just a question - has everyone upgraded to v. 5.0? My PC is a HP Pavilion and I bought it last summer. The version I am using came with my machine - WIN 98. Are the new machines shipping with v. 5.0/ v.5.0.1 now? And as I recall, I went over to Microsoft to download the new version for the PC and was only able to download the Macintosh version. Is v. 5.0 and 5.0.1 only available for purchase? 3. Carol, No, you can download IE 5 or 5.01 from the microsoft website for free. I just downloaded it myself a couple of weeks ago and you can get it for any PC.
