Hi Elaine, Thanks for responding. I know how to view the headers, I just don't know how to copy them. I can only retype them and hope I've not made a mistake. When I'm viewing a message and go to file/properties/details, I can't then go to edit and copy then paste. What am I doing wrong? I went to file/properties/details and copied them in. Most of us don't want to see them <grin>. Elaine
Elizabeth, You can go to the headers, highlight what you want and then press Control and C and it works the same as copy and paste. I just tried it to be sure. When I open the headers, I use the cursor to highlight the entire header, then control key/c (to copy) and then go to the email or word document and use control key/v to paste. I generally prefer that method for all copy/paste functions. Let me know if you have any problems with this method.
