Hi, I installed my new 5.5 explorer and internet tools last night. Now in settings, in add and remove programs, I find the one I installed last night, 5.5 with internet tools and there's also another Outlook Express 5. Is the Outlook Express 5 the old version? and if so, can I remove it without hurting the other application? I think I can but would like to know for sure before I do. Thanks. Pat

Hi Pat ,,,, I also have just installed Ver 5.5. My Add/Remove shows only one (1) Outlook Express 5. I have also searched my disk and cannot find two (2) installed versions of OE. If I were you, I would leave well enough alone. Rest assured that your old 5.01 ver. has been completely replaced by ver. 5.5, they just didn't change the OE ver. # in Add/Remove. Bob, That's what I wanted to know. If you just installed yours and it says the same, then I'm leaving it. I guess they just didn't change that in Add/Remove. The 5.1 Explorer was removed and replaced with the 5.5. Thanks. I am showing 5.50 for Outlook Express which I believe was upgraded along with IE 5.5.
