Elaine, Do you mean inline viewing of files/images attachments? In Netscape, you do have a choice of viewing of attachments as inline or as packaged files. In OE you do not have that choice. I have found that OE has compensated for this by allowing the user the option of using the preview pane. I can view any html file or image file within my mail. Other file types are clickable - and then saveable. The only thing I wish OE would do is to allow me to read my RootsWeb email list mail as inline links (sigh!) rather than as one email with many attachments. It seems to be something with RW because I receive digest mode from other mail lists providers (egroups.com, listbot.com) and the mail doesn't arrive as several attachments but as one email with inline links. Hi Carol, I was fairly certain that OE did not have the option, but someone had suggested the it did. I think the envelopes unnerve a lot of people. Perhaps in OE 6 <smile>. Carol said: ==>>The only thing I wish OE would do is to allow me to read my RootsWeb email list mail as inline links (sigh!) rather than as one email with many attachments. <<=== This can be done in ver.'s OE5.0 up by dbl. clicking on the digest. In the window that opens, highlight all the individual messages, then left click on them and drag & drop back into your Inbox (or a special folder you have created to receive them). You will still have the digest message but all the individual messages will have been copied back into the Inbox (or special Folder) as separate "In Line" viewable messages. It is essential that you Drag&Drop or it wont work.
