Really not enough details here to narrow down the problem. I have never used NS but seems like I recall reading where NS cannot display scans in .BMP format. However it shouldn't be trying to open them if it is uninstalled. Maybe it would help if we knew what the extensions are for the scans you saved ,,, (that's the 3 letters after the file name following the [.] ) And what program are you using to try and open them ?? Any time you install a program like Netscape, you MUST reboot your system in order to remove the registry info.
