    3. To have more than one store Go to your store icon , click change location you can choose your old mail store folder and when you reboot all your mail and old folders will be there , PS when the menu pops up to and says there is mail in this folder , do you want to use it any way, choose yes, it will then use that folder when you restart OE , I have 5 message Stores with old mail I go to when I need to, you should also not do this on line , also set you mail reader not to download messages till you are sure its it set up the way you want so you do not down load messages to a place you do not want. You message store is normally in windows under Application Data, and Identities, you can locate it any place you wish I keep mine in another partition on D drive so if I loose C it will not affect my mail So you mail could be like this C:\Windows\identities\12324the numbers\Microsoft\Outlookexpress\ D:\My Mail\ then all your mail will be here , a complete store you can access any time. One e-mail address I download to a R CD , but if you do this you also must move it to a HD and change the attributes from read only to archive If you plan to move all you mail the hard way from one system to another by disk, be sure to copy ALL the files and put them all back, OE is a data base it needs all the files , and all you folders will work, you will need to make new filters. Favorites and address book folders can be moved too.
