Bob Thanks for your reply, I have done exactly that but still the same error message as when trying to access over the network. It says the following: No messages can be found in this folder or another application is running that has required files open. Please select another folder or try closing applications that may have files open. WELL ,,,,, That is the same error msg. you get when OE cannot find a .dbx file. OK,, lets check your DBX file extension association: Dbl. click on the "My Computer" icon on desktop ,,, click on View / Folder Options / File Types tab,, scroll down the list to "DBX File" ,,, Opens with: should have MSIMN 1. Upper right ,, click on "Edit" under "Actions" should be "open" ,,, click on it ,, then click on "Edit" 2. In the window for "Application used to perform action:" should be "C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" ,,, including quotes If this is not what is in there, browse to where MSIMN.EXE is stored ,, click on it ,, do what is needed to enter it into the window. Be sure the entry includes the quotes. ,,, OK all the way out and try again. Lets see where this takes us.
