Slightly off topic but still Internet Explorer, hopefully someone can help. We have a customer who cannot browse any pages on his web browser. We have been through everything and we have set up a lot of people and this is the first time this has occurred. It is getting the connection to the Internet fine, we have checked all of the settings within dial-up networking different dns, different ISP's, checked the web browser connection settings. checked and unchecked automatically detect network settings. Checked the correct network protocols and adapters are displayed. We have done everything but to no avail, still he cannot view any web pages. We have even upgraded his internet explorer from 5 to 5.5 and done a repair of Internet Explorer within the add remove programs.
