    3. Gee, I hope you are not one of those people who work for DSL! Has this person ever been able to browse? Has he tried a different browser? If so, thru trial and error, after many of these errors in set-up and with no help from so-called techs, I had to do a "Factory-restore!" Once done, I went into the help-section, printed up every topic on settings for every possible connection and eventually, was up and running. I then did a user back-up/user-restore disc, should this ever happen again! I found OE to be very finicky and shaky! And I am not computer-literate....I went from webtv to computer! If someone had the smarts to create a set-up software for every system that would input connection settings at the initial set-up, they could make a mint! This is just an idea and good luck!
