    3. Spammers use the ReplyTo: part of the header to force where your replies should go. In OE, I haven't found a way to use this header line, though it is there. OE appears to force the ReplyTo: for letters YOU send to the same address you entered when you set up OE. In Unix mailers, which is what most spammers use, you can set the ReplyTo: field to whatever you want. My advice: Open the message, go the Message in the top menu, click on Create Rule from Message, leave the conditions alone and in the area for action, click on the box for delete it. That way, you'll never see it. 3. Thanks Dennis for your quick response. Your suggestion of going into message and clicking on the box for deleting, is that like putting a block on that sender or is it the same as using the regular delete key. Would you mind explaining this further? 3. Best way I have found is to make a rule from the message text , put the subject of the spam in the message rule , this way they are all filtered out no matter what the TO or sender is and you do not have to open the message you can get it from properties if you do not use the preview pane. For lists I use the TO rule/ Dan ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dennis Duffner" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, January 17, 2001 8:47 PM Subject: Re: [OE] different reply address in email than the from address > Spammers use the ReplyTo: part of the header to force where your replies > should go.
