    3. - This mail is in HTML. Some elements may be ommited in plain text. - I really hope you get this fast. I could not inform anyone about my trip, because it was impromptu. i had to be in Manila, Philippines for a program. The program was successful, but my journey has turned sour. i misplaced my wallet and cell phone on my way back to the hotel i lodge in after i went for sight seeing. The wallet contained all the valuables i had. Now, my passport is in custody of the hotel management pending when i make payment. I am sorry if i am inconveniencing you, but i have only very few people to run to now. i will be indeed very grateful if i can get a loan of £2'680, from you. this will enable me sort my hotel bills and get my sorry self back home. I will really appreciate whatever you can afford in assisting me with. I promise to refund it in full as soon as I return. let me know if you can be of any assistance. Please, let me know soonest. Thanks so much, Cherie

    3. Hi Bonnie, My Osborne family were all from Merriott in Somerset, England but I have found some details of your family that I hope will help. Firstly the father of your Louisa is James Davis, and Louisa was named Louisa Whetcombe (there are various spellings) Davis, after her grandmother Mielora Whitcombe, see attached Davis family files. I have also attached 2 family files for Robert Edward Osborne. I have also attached an image of the probate listing for Robert Edward and Lousia Whitcombe Osborne - which goes on to say that James Davis is a grandfather of their 4 children - hence the clue to Louisa being a Davis. Let me know if you need some more assistance, Sandy in Sydney, Australia -----Original Message----- From: osborne-uk-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:osborne-uk-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Bonnie Cole Sent: Tuesday, 14 August 2012 12:49 PM To: OSBORNE-UK@rootsweb.com Subject: [OSBORNE-UK] Robert Edward Osborne - Coach Painter Hello Everyone, my first posting here. I have a Robert Edward Osborne born about 1840 but don't know where yet. He married Louisa Whetcombe and they had a family. I live in Canada, so I'm a bit slow at finding things since I don't know all the areas. Louisa Wetcombe Osborne died in Pancras 13 Sept. 1882 of Pithisis and she lived at 97 Carlton Street. Death information says she was a Widow but either she was just saying that or maybe I have the wrong lady. Her husband Robert died 15 June 1890 in the Mitcham Infirmary from a blow to the head by the lady he was living with at the time, my great grandmother. They were both drinking at the time and she went on trial for his death. This is all very shocking as they lived in the slums and I can't figure this family out. Anyway I would imagine that he had children with Louisa and did the children know what happened to their father? Did he abandon her a few years before her death? If anyone out there is descended from Robert but lost track of him, I would appreciate hearing from you. Maybe you can help me with some background on this man. Thanks very much for any assistance.
