"Mimi" Whaley, 76, of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii died March 4 at home. She was born in Ogdensburg, N.Y. She is survived by daughter Mary J. Dunst; sons Talton, Eric and James Whaley and Byron Grow; hanai daughters Patricia Fotenos, Laurie Ware and Heather Minton; sister Margaret Berneck, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mass: 9 a.m. tomorrow at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Alii Dr. Call after 8 a.m. Reception to follow. The boat "Tamure" will depart at noon from Kailua-Kona pier for scattering of the ashes at sea. Casual attire. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to St. Michael's Youth Ministry in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, Tennessee 38101.
