The following is from a rootsweb site: the link is at the end of the text. DESCRIPTION OF THE CEMETERY Cooper Mountain Cemetery is located about six miles west of Beaverton in unincorporated Aloha, Washington County, Oregon. It sits near the top of Cooper Mountain at 745 feet elevation and is surrounded by a rural residential area. The site is a 0.9-acre plot on the south side of SW Gassner Road between SW Winslow Drive and SW Miller Hill Road. GPS coordinates are 452715N/1225220W. A wooden sign at the entrance reads, COOPER MOUNTAIN CEMETERY EST. 1899 The cemetery plat indicates that a church once stood in the northeast corner at the entrance to the cemetery. Rows of mature trees surround the cemetery: Douglas fir, horse chestnut and linden on the north (road) side; cypress on the west; cypress and a maple on the south; and Douglas firs, madrona and Japanese maples on the east. It lies on a deer trail that crosses Cooper Mountain from north to south, and chickadees, crows and scrub jays call out from the trees. The cemetery is maintained by the Cooper Mountain Cemetery Association, which holds a plat, burial certificates for most graves and a spreadsheet database of burials. The Association can be reached at 503-628-1866, 14930 SW Vandermost Rd., Beaverton, OR 97007. The Beaver (Beaverton, Oregon) Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution placed a stone marker at the entrance of the cemetery in 2001. A plaque on the marker reads, COOPER MOUNTAIN CEMETERY ESTABLISHED 1899 WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON PLAQUE ERECTED BY: BEAVER CHAPTER NATIONAL SOCIETY DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION MAY 2001 http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/or/washington/cemeteries/coopermt.txt
