He was Swiss/French and came to the U.S. thru Illinois in 1849. In 1910 he was living in Morrow County with Eugenia (54), we believe was his daughter, and in 1910 he was 78. His son was Herbert G. Voruz and his daughter was Elodia Louisa Voruz. Elodia married John Lloyd Northup and they are my husband's grandparents from Yamhill County. Any connection to Emil that you recognize? Colleen
