Do you have an exact day of death? It makes it a lot easier to look through the microfilm. Many times during the period of time you have mentioned, only a death or funeral notice was put in the paper. If you know the funeral home, they sometimes have a copy of the obituary or are able to tell you if one was even put into the paper.
