"Ellie" Malone, who died July 24 at age 56. Mrs. Malone was born Eleanor Mackay on Oct. 6, 1944, in Escondido, Calif., and moved to Forest Grove in 1998. She was a beautician for 30 years. She married Charles L. "Chuck" Malone in 1991. Survivors include her husband; son, Richard L. Maple; daughter, Holly Maple; mother, Lois Williams; brother, Jerry Mackay; sister, Donna Pendergrass; and two grandchildren. Remembrances to Forest Grove Recovery Club.
