I have found a S.S. death date for Wm. Smith, zip code 97225 Washington co. Oregon in 1970. This appears to be Martin Manor. Could someone tell me what newspaper the obit might appear in as I don't know where in Washington co. this is located. I would appreciate this very much. clara

The Oregon Historical Society downtown Portland has all the newspapers on microfilm and they can do the research for you for a small fee. Washington County is about 10 miles West of Downtown Portland. The newspaper could be the Oregonian or the Hillsboro Argus.
