Mine lived in Buxton, in fact my Mom was born there 7-7-1906, her parents were Hans Peterson and Etta Lovisa Patton. We still live in Oregon, where are you? "B. reply #2, After I sent you the first answer I went to my Mom's autobiography because I remembered there was another Peterson family that she had mentioned in Buxton. Charlie Peterson was the Postmaster and had a son named Harold, and daughters including Lura, Grace and Irene. She thought there was a 4th daughter. There was also a Daisy and she could have been the wife of Charlie but that wasn't clear. Daisy came to stay with my grandmother Etta while Hans went to get the doctor when my mother was being born. Harold became a chiropractor and moved to Vernonia. Hans Peterson became a Chiropractor in about 1910 or so. So are these your Peterson/Petersens? Jean Rotter "B.
