Does anyone know where to find information about local Masonic heritage of Hillsboro and possibly Forest grove? I have a relative John H. McNAMER who was a Mason in Forest Grove area, and another lady Mary M. (NORCROSS)McLEAN who was a Worthy Matron of OES and was also in Rebekka, who lived in Gales Creek, and later in Hillsboro. I'd love to find out more about them. When I was growing up in the middle 1970's in California they had photos of the installed officers (such as OES and Job's daughters and Demolay) in the local papers. I am thinking if they did this in Washington co papers, I might be able to dig up a photo of Mary as I have none now. That is my only hope. Anyone know if the early 1900-1920's they put photos in the papers of these groups. Any idea where I could write to learn more of local Masonic groups?
