I have combed the Oregonian around Edward's death date and can find NO obit, I did find a funeral notice though from the Oregonian Wed. Aug. 28 1968 edition. Reads as follows: ALESHIRE - Edward D., of Hillsboro. Services Wednesday, 2 pm, WILKERSON-HURFORD Funeral Home. Vault Interment Valley Memorial". I can find no mention of the funeral home or cemetery/mausoleum on the internet....if you would like I have a local place that I can call in Portland that can most likely point me in the right direction.
