He had also lived in Gaston in 1963. The SSDI revealed a man by this name who died in November 1975 in Portland, zip code: 97223. I am seeking the obituary/transcription so that I can determine if this man was related to our family. There was another Peter Petersen listed in the SSDI who died in March 1985 in Multnomah County, zip code 97214. This man also matches the approximate date of birth of our family member. So I am trying to rule out which one, if either, is our Uncle Pete. Our Peter Petersen was originally from Nebraska and his wife's name was Lillian McAllister. I am not aware whether she was alive or if they were still married at the time of his death. Any assistance or referrals to other contacts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

He was born 24 May 1896 at York, NE, came to OR 1938; had been a logger; lived Tigard since 1963. Surv: wife Alice two dau: Mrs Marlin (Iris) Williams of Charleston, SC; Mrs. Gary (Phyllis) Bristow of Portland; four sons: Floyd of Kalama, WA; Stanley of Kelso, WA; Richard of Wenatchee, WA; Ivan of Carlton, OR; two step children Mrs. Ted (Winifred) Schoen of Gresham and Mrs. John (Madelyn) Harris of Eugene. Also three sisters Edith Jones of Abilene, KS; Mrs. Frank (Elizabeth) Anderson of Omaha, Anna Eliassen, Omaha. 23 grandchildren, 12 great grd child.
