They appear on the 1850 Census for Clatsop Territory with John (H.) 4 and (Devon) A. 3-- both children born in Oregon. Henry is the son of Robert E. who died 1854 in Astoria, OR. Robert E. Marlin born 1787 in that part of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, that became Perry County, is probably the son of one of the Marlins on the 1820 Census for Perry Co. PA. Robert, Thomas, and Joseph all between 26-45 and Jane who is over 45 is the only Marlin with a son between 16-26. Is Jane their mother?
