Interment will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery. Mr. Gifford died July 5 in his Aloha home at age 93. Born Dec. 16, 1901, in Owyhee, he grew up in Idaho. Mr. Gifford married Mary Ethel Harris in 1926; she died in 1992. Mr. Gifford was a dairy farmer and rancher in Boise for many years. He lived in Montana, Nevada, Arizona and Missouri before moving to Aloha 1 1/2 years ago. He was a counselor in the bishopric and district presidency of the Mormon Church. Survivors are his sons, W. Lavon of Page, Ariz., Gerald H. of Cottage Grove, Grant R. of Alpine, Utah, and Milton E. of Cottage Grove; daughters, Mary D. Baird of Carbondale, Ill., Evalee Fish of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Melanie Watkins of Aloha; 46 grandchildren; 92 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements: Donelson, Sewell & Mathews Mortuary in Hillsboro.
