Lena (could be Carolina or Paulina) Sagert (formerlly of Tualatin) married Jacob Whitmore and was listed as living in Laurel, Oregon on her Fathers (Frederick Sagert) probate will in 1890. Lena's sister Mary Sagert (also from Tualatin) was also listed as living in Laurel during the same time. Both girls were listed on the 1880 census in Washington County, Cedar Creek Precinct. I have very little information on the town and even less on the poeple. Anyone with any information on either Laurel, Oregon or any of the people listed, I would be happy to hear from you.
