Parmer A gathering will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, in Biscuits Cafe in Beaverton for George L. Parmer, who died Aug. 4 at age 81. Mr. Parmer was born June 19, 1923, in Portland. He graduated from Beaverton High School and served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific. He was a purchasing and contracting agent for the Portland VA Medical Center for 25 years. In 1947, he married Maxine Faulkner. Survivors include his wife; daughter, Marsha; son, Ronald; five grandchildren. Arrangements by Finley's Sunset Hills.
