Wood, spenst several years at the coal mines in IA, on Apr 7 1879 left Boone Co., IA, came to Glencoe in Washington Co., arriviving 29 Dec 1879. Survived by widow and following children: William, of Buxton, Mrs. Plezy Dunham, Mrs. Stella Holley, Mrs. Elmer Carson, Portland; Harland and Irvin E. of North Plains; Edna Kelly of Hillsboro, and Ruben Portland, Buried Arcade Cemetery. Thomas Gorby Meacham is buried in Banks Union Point Cemetery, he has only a name marker. He was son of Julius Jones Meacham and Martha Jackson Children: Alice who married Henry J.
