Would like information if you have it. The article has two different spellings of surname. I think the article was probably from early 1900's. From my Grandmother's news clippings Celebrate 35th Wedding Anniversary. On the 35th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John Gilispie of Manning. A half hundred of their friends and relatives staged a grand surprise for them on Saturday evening August 6. Among those present were two large auto loads of friends and relatives from Portland. The Manning Social Club of which Mrs. and Mrs. Gilespie are very active members adjourned from their regular place of meeting and joined en-masse with the others fairly swamping the bride and groom of such "tender years," until bother were not only fairly surprised but completely captured. They were ushered into their parlor an asked to join hands and reaffirm the vows given 35 years ago. L.L. Crawford officiating.
