He was born on Oct. 16, 1866 in Glengarry County, Ontario, Canada He moved with his family to Deloraine, Manitoba, Canada in 1881. We have a record of him visiting my grandfather Alexander James (AKA Sandy), his brother in 1906, in Forget, Saskatchewan, Canada. The last record we have of his whereabouts is when my father visited with him in Portland, Oregon. The date of that visit was in July of 1912. (He would have been abt. 46 years of age at that time.)
