Raised and educated in Oakwood, OK. He married 9 Mar 1934 Hazel Rebecca Boose in Santa Cruz CA. The lived Alhambra, CA until 1947, the moved to Baldwin Park, CA. After retiring they moved to Forest Grove in 1973. Mrs. Wood died 25 Apr 1999. Surviving are two sons and daughtersinlaw: Steve and Marilyn Wood of Banks; Tom and Darlene Wood of The Dalles Five grandchildren; a sis in law: LaVerne Boose of South Elgin, IL. Preceded in death by 2 bro: Harry and Nell Wood, and Elbert and Hazel Wood.
