Born Jefferson Co. Nebraska 34 years ago. In 1885 married her husband, who with six little ones survives. Came to Oregon 1890. _____________ Forest Grove Times Aug 15, 1901 - Mrs. W. W. Taylor of Hillsboro died in early February 1942, according to Hillboro Argus 5 February 1942. _________ W. E. Taylor is owner in the North 1/2, Lot 139, in the IOOF section of Hillsboro Pioneer Cemetery; and owner in Lit 13North, of the Masonic Section. __________________ Reading of Hillsboro Pioneer, done in 1970's "O (Q?).M. Taylor" : a curbing around two grave spaces, also a concrete base that had an inscription scratched in, but time and weather erased it, a temporary marker was standing at that time also, but not data left" Also in that lot the dates April 8, 1887 -February 19, 1914 which seem to match: Raymond Taylor - Washington County Death Rec Bk 1 - died 19 Feb 1914, white male, married; age 26y 3m 10d, died at HIllsboro, born in IA, occupation: mason; father born in IA; mother Quitera Patten, born IA. Died of accident, fractured skull from limb. Hillsboro Argus 19 Feb 1914 - Ray Taylor, son of Walter E. Taylor of this city killed by tree while working in timber, age 24. Widow, daughter of Mr and Mrs. S.J. Galloway, and child of three years, and father and family survive. 26 Feb 1914 - Raymond Taylor born Fillmore Co., NE 9 Nov 1887; second son of Walter E. and May Taylor, came to OR with parents when age 2. His mother died several years ago. Married Miss Bertha Galloway, dau of Mr and Mrs Samuel Galloway on Aug 25, 1907; two child one of whom, a boy, died in infancy. Widow and one child age 3 survive.Also father; and two bor: Clyde and Laurence; two sis Mrs Effie Willis of Lebam, WA; and Mrs. Ethel Watson of Newport, OR, and Nellie at home. buried Odd Fellows Cemetery. _____________________________________________________ It would appear that May Quitera Patton and Walter E. Taylor, as well as Raymond are buried in Lot 139, IOOF Section of the Hillsboro Pioneer Cemetery, Hillsboro, OR.
