    3. Hi, Washington Cty List: I have been traipsing across the United States, following my great-uncle, the long-lost brother of my grandmother. He, Charles Henry Crandall, born Jan 1867 in Wisconsin, is the son of Clark Green Crandall b NY 1825, and sister of Harriet Emeline Crandall, Born Jan 1871, WI. Last I heard, he'd been married to Phebe (febe, Phoebe) circa 1897, and he was elder at a 7th Day Baptist Church in Cartwright aka New Auburn, WI around 1900. 1910 Census finds him, Phebe and Miriam, and Clark living in Beebe Draw prec., Weld Cty, Colorado. Miriam is age 15. Nothing until I find Charles in 1930 Census, Cowlitz Cty, Washington State, divorced, living in logging town Ryderwood, working for Long-Bell Lumber Co. Then, his death March 14, 1932 and the obit (thank you, Lower Columbia Genealogical Soc for your reasonable and quick response!) says he is survived by a daughter: "...Mrs. C. W. Brome of Aloha, Ore., who formerly lived in Longview [WA] and several grandchildren." I will write for the Charles' death certificate, and Funeral home records, but I was wondering if any census info for 1920 or 1930 might be found. I am hoping and praying this is NOT some mistake, mis-spelling, etc. because I have not had ANY leads, including records of the Seventh Day Baptist Church, in over four years!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated - Robin NW of Chicago
