Stauss in 1886, who was pastor of a German Reformed Church in West Union - but who traveled to Scappoose (possibly monthly) to conduct services there in the school house. My uncles was confirmed in Scappoose and I'd like to find out where church records would be for the period of 1883 to 1890s. Does anyone out there know who I can contact? Is there a church at West Union still in existence that might have been the old German Lutheran church?
There are several old churches on Western Union. I don't know the addresses right off, but some probably in the yellow pages.
