Her mother was Ernestine Reeves and they lived in Milton- Freewater and Walla Walla Wa area when they were married until they divorced in abt 1930 or after. there. I last saw Doris in 1990's in Hoquiam, Wa. Do you have anything on this Frakes family and are they maybe connected with some in your's???? She was my grandmother. She was born in Montana and married my grandfather John Mason. They were married until their deaths. They lived their lives in Idaho and Oregon. I know the Brown lines can be very confusing. I follow three separate ones in my direct lines and none of them connect to each other. I hope you're successful in finding out more about your Gladys Brown. :-) Donna Hamm

Also, if anyone wants to send their family pedigrees or history to me that would be great too! Feel free to email me with any questions. Thank you! Amy

I found her on the death index for the State of Oregon. We know that our ancestor Lyman E Belknap was living in Portland Oregon and had a wife named Mary E. Belknap. I just wanted to see if the Mary E in the death index was the same person. I am searching for a death record for Lyman E Belknap and we know they lived in the Portland area when he was in the lumbering place there because he sent home to Michigan, to his sister, post cards, and some of them didn't get here until 2 years after he sent them dated 1902/3. I have found them on the census record in Portland 1910,but nothing after that.. Anyway, I saw her name in the death index and thought it might be a start. Thanks, Carol

If you know the city or town in Washington county post it some of the papers here in the Hillsboro area have all the originals in their buildings and you can search them or contact your local library they will usually do an interlibrary loan on film. Good Luck!

I don't know what time frame, but my aunt before she passed away told me that he lived or stayed with his grandma. I don't have any information other then that about him and his family. I heard that he was married to someone else when I was concieved. I was born January 2, 1982. My aunt's name was Ethel Ritchie and I had a uncle Gordon living there too. I don't know any of his family's name, just his...David Anderson....I am not sure about his middle name, but I THINK it is Allen. I heard that he was growing up there, but I am not sure. My aunt was the only one that talked to me about him, and now she is gone. My mother, Linda Hagen also is gone, so all I have is the info that I talked about already. I really wish that I had more info, because it is so hard to find someone with that much of a common name.....not just Anderson, but David makes it really hard too. I have been trying to find him for 11 years now. I also heard that he might have worked at PGE, but mig! ht have been after he lived there. Please let me know if you know him
