When I visited several years ago, they were not using computers, so you are limited as to what you can get since every request is done manually. Be sure and send a SASE. Good luck.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5cB.2ACI/674.1 Message Board Post: Maida, The Buxton name sounded familiar, because there is a small town in Washington County named Buxton, just Northwest of Forest Grove. Since my husbands dutch roots run deep in Washington County I decided to paruse my genealogy and found a Buxton married into the Vandehey family line of my tree. The only information that I have is the name "Roberta Buxton", no birth, parents or place information. However, the info I have on the husband is such; "Danny W. Vandehey" born 1953 to Wayne L. Vandehey and Reta L. Cropley. Danny and Roberta have 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. Danny would be my husbands 3rd cousin 1 time removed. There are Smith's married into the Vandehey lines as well. The best person I could point you to would be a Rev. Scott Vandehey, the family historian. He is a priest at Visitation Catholic Church in Verboort, Washington County, Oregon. He has written several genealogical books on his family lines. That is, if this Buxton fits with yours? Good luck!
