I know this is really a long shot, but I thought I'd give it a try. Back in the 1970's, we advertently donated an heirloom pocket watch to a second hand store in The Dalles, Oregon (it might've been the Salvation Army downtown). It was a gold railroad watch that had belonged to my grandfather in the 1920's or 1930's who immigrated from Belgium to Portland and worked on the railroads. It had an engraving of a train on the back looking like it was coming towards you from right to left. At the time, the front glass was broken and it did not have a cover. If anyone remembers someone having bought a pocket watch such as this at a second hand store, or remembers someone showing it to them and they bought it there, I would certainly like to try to get it back to the family. Maybe someone has it sitting in a box somewhere at home and remembers where they bought it. Thanks for any help. Marilyn
