Their daughter, Mary Ann, married Edward Wilson in 1844, probably after he was pardoned by the Queen, and they sailed for the Sandwich Islands on a whaling ship. She was pregnant and nauseous and the stench of the whales being rendered impressed her so that she told the story to her daughters and granddaughters for the rest of her life. I have two other kids listed for them: Winfield Scott and "Poor Little Willie" who apparently met with an early death. Mary Ann was buried in Los Angeles in 1901. Her daughter, Lauretta, married William J. Leezer, a tinner from Illinois, and they moved to Heppner, Oregon and had three kids -- Emery, Mabel America, and Willetta. Will died in 1897 and Lauretta took in boarders until Willetta married Earl Conser and she with them thereafter. The Consers had Kathryn Ann who married Charles Rector and had me and my brother Jerry. One of my cousins corresponded a bit with one of Mary Ann's brothers after he'd notified him of her death but we have lost track of all our Tasmanian relatives.
