My grandfather, Samuel Rufus Cox, was a driver on the Shaniko-Antelope-Mitchell Freight line when he and my grandmother, Bessie Sherry, were married on 7 August 1904, at the home of her mother (Mary Ellen Hughes) and step-father (Allen Grant) at Antelope, Oregon. I visited Antelope this past September and presume there is no historical group there. Where can I find information on the freight line(s) of this era? Thanking you in advance.
