She is the daughter of Denise and Dennis Scoggins, Moro [Oregon]. She is a 1997 graduate of Oregon State University with a BS in Biology and a LPN nursing certificate and Columbia Gorge Community College. She is employed as a nurse in Corpus Christi. He is the son of Christine and Orman Hilderbrand, Walla Walla, Washington.
