Hello all, In addition to several minor changes/updates I've made to the Wasco County GenWeb site recently, I just posted an almost-complete index of names & locations appearing in my recent book, "Columbia River Gorge: Natural Treasure on the Old Oregon Trail." Although the book itself contains what appears to be an index, I'm sorry to say that the publisher severely limited the number of entries in both the index and the bibliography. Since an index is such a valuable tool for genealogists & the whole reason I wrote the book was for the benefit of those who are researching their family histories, I felt it was important to make a complete index available to the public. I've already identified a few names that are missing in my new index, so I'll be adding them as I get a chance. Please check back from time to time if you're looking for someone not yet listed in the index, because I may have simply overlooked them in my first indexing run.
